The Ireland- Canada Chamber of Commerce was founded in1991.It was decided at the start that the Chamber would cover the whole of Ireland and would be non-political and non-sectarian.

The Chamber enjoys excellent relationships with the Embassy of Ireland, the British High Commission, the European Commission to the Government  of Canada, the British Canadian Chamber of Commerce and other European Chambers in Montreal.
